  For years, I'd driven past this place.  Off of Roswell Rd. it's a pretty nondescript looking business that from the road itself, anyone passing would just see a sign that said "PIZZA."  One day, I went to the bank in the same plaza at a fairly busy time of day, to where if I wanted a chance to get into the line for the intersection light, I had to go deeper into the plaza so I could turn into the main byway in order to get in line.  It was at this time that I saw that there was a little sign that said "JJ's," and they advertised a pizza lunch buffet, and if there's ever one thing that catches my gluttonous eye, it's the word "buffet."
  
  Being the genius that I am, it was dinner time when the wife and I decided to give this place a whirl.  It was convenient, and we were jonesing for pizza without having to get remotely near Johnson Ferry Rd. No big deal, the buffet could still happen another time.
  
  JJ's is located in East Cobb, Marietta, not far after getting onto Roswell Rd./GA-120, in a shopping district called East Lake.  Look on the side of the road with a Wells Fargo and a Taco Bell, and it's in there, next to the Marshall's. Parking is plentiful as it often is in the 'burbs.
  
  Entering JJ's, it's a very relaxed and homey aesthetic, and probably can't seat more than like 25 people tops; a couple of booths, and a few tables.  Lots of things fairly frequently seen at most places advertising New York pizza, framed photos, checkered floor.
  
  I would rate the pizza of a pizzeria, if I had it; the wife was pretty pleased with it, but I actually still haven't had it yet, because the times I've gone, I've always gotten the chicken parmigiana sub, because for a hair over $10 for a sub I can't finish, fries and a soft drink, it's a combo that I can never seem to resist.
  
  The sub is exploding with chicken and cheese, and I don't really know what constitutes what a chicken parm is supposed to be judged on, but all I know is that I love JJ's, and I get it every time.  The best part is that half of it is usually good to fill me up, and then I can enjoy the other half of it often times the next day, it's so generously portioned.
  
  The service has always been friendly, the location is easy to get to, and the price is just right.  I love that they're a local business in my general area, so it makes it easy for me to come by whenever I'm in the mood for a chicken parm.  One day, I'll try the pizza lunch buffet, but for the time being, they're my go to for a good chicken parm and a filling meal at a reasonable cost.

  I happened to see an ad on Instagram for this pizza delivery app called Slice. It came with a promo code for $7 off tour first order. I saw the pizza options and decided to give JJ's a try since it was close by.
  
  The app was easy to use. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and add mushrooms, onions, and olives to one side for me. My son just likes a simple pepperoni pizza. I paid through the app. It said it would be an hour.
  
  An hour later my doorbell rang which is good. I was happy the delivery time was accurate. The driver told me there had been an accident with my order. They made the whole pizza with all the veggies. To compensate, he made me a small pepperoni pizza. How cool was that! I appreciated the issue being corrected and informing me. My son was happy to have his own pizza to himself.
  
  The pizza smelled good and looked pretty tasty. I liked that my veggies looked cook. Sometimes places deliver a pizza and the veggies look raw like thrown on after. I enjoyed my pizza as did my son. It was pretty good for a local pizza place. It passed the next day test as well. It tasted just as good the following day when I heated the pizza up.

  Lived in this area for 14 years and have never tried this place. I regret all those 14 years. I think it used to be called something else before it was changed to what it is now, but man this place is so good.
  
  I think what deterred me away from this place in the first place was the sign outside that said "lunch special $8.99 ALL YOU CAN EAT". When I think all you can eat pizza, I immediately think Cici's or Stevie B's; neither of which are good. You just can't expect much from a pizza Buffett.
  
  This place is different. It's a little mom and pop shop that has super personable and nice people that run the place. The pizza is good too. It's a thin style (half the thickness of your franchise pizzas) and pretty big size. I've only been here for the lunch special so I can't speak for the dinner, but I can bet that it'll be just as good if not better.
  
  If you've been on the fence like me, just go ahead and try it. You won't regret it. Best $9 I've spent.

  Good place.
  
  The food is tasty. It's not the absolute best pizza I've ever had, but it's pretty doggone good. Good-size slices, nice and thin as befits New York style pizza.
  
  The place is decorated up with lots of New York black-and-white pictures. It's not a huge restaurant; two center tables surrounded by booths.
  
  The workers are friendly guys who speak with their customers and run a good, friendly family business.
  
  The lunch all-you-can-eat special is pretty good; they warm up two slices of pizza at a time for you in the oven, and they come out tasting pretty doggone good.
  
  A good place that is worth checking out.

  It's 9 pm, just drove in to Marietta, Ga from MD. (shout out to Jonathan T) Tired and kind of hungry for....wait for it..
  eggplant parm.
  
  Where in the world was I going to find decent eggplant parm at this time of night you ask...I ordered take out from Saporito's.
  
  My eggplant parm came with sphaghetti, side of salad and bread roll. Definitely satisfied my craving.
  
  Now this fine establishment has a new name: JJ's...but whatever the name the food is on point.  So on point, that I went back the next day and sampled the veggie pizza.  It was delicious as well.
  
  So.  If you require some late night eggplant parm or other late night craving Italian dish (think lasagna-- which I'm going to try next time) or a good slice of NY style pizza give them a call or stop by for their all you can eat pizza lunch special.  Its well worth it
